JACKSONVILLE SHARKS GO TO CITY HALL

JACKSONVILLE  – The 2017 NAL Champion Jacksonville Sharks have been invited to Duval County City Hall to meet Mayor Lenny Curry Tuesday, July 18 at 2pm. The Sharks players, coaches, staff and the NAL Championship Trophy will join Mayor Curry at 2pm to celebrate their NAL Championship victory over the Columbus Lions on July 10..



“I congratulate the Jacksonville Sharks on another national championship win,” said Mayor Lenny Curry. “As an avid football fan, I know the tremendous amount of work and discipline required to reach the championship level. I am incredibly proud of the successes this team has earned and look forward to recognizing their achievements.”


The event will be held in the atrium of City Hall at 117 W. Duval St. in downtown Jacksonville and will be open to the public as photos with the players and trophy will be made available following the ceremony. This will be the last of celebration events for the Sharks for this season.  Last Saturday afternoon, the Sharks hosted a celebration event downtown at the Jacksonville Landing.
