JACKSONVILLE –  The Jacksonville Sharks have announced the Theme Nights and Promotions Schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. The Sharks have a variety of creative themes designed to create the ultimate fan experience at the Shark Tank. In addition, the team will incorporate a number of appreciation nights and other initiatives to directly benefit the Jacksonville community. Familiar fan favorites from seasons past will combine with new electrifying theme nights to make the 2018 season a year to remember.

The Sharks’ home schedule opens Saturday, April 14, against the Massachusetts Pirates presented by Baptist Health. The Sharks selected the fan-crazed Country Night for the home opener.  Sharks camo t-shirts and hats will be available for sale at the game as the Sharks look forward to a country showdown against the Massachusetts Pirates. In addition to country night, the Sharks will unveil their 2017 National Arena League Championship banner.

On Saturday, April 28th against the Carolina Cobras the Sharks will host its first-ever 90s night present by Clay Eye Physicians and Surgeons. It “Smells like Teen Spirit”, so bring your jean jackets, flannel shirts and scrunchies as the Sharks look to party like it’s 1999. Feel free to take a polaroid with the 90s greatest stars and enjoy some of the 90s greatest POP hits all night long. Don’t let this theme night pass you “Bye, bye, bye”

On Saturday, May 12, the Sharks will take on the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks for Hawaiian Night.  Enjoy a festive night of tiki fun as a special halftime performances will include real luau dancers and a special hawaiian fire torch performance. In addition, kids will be pleased to see Princess Moana from the famous Disney movie.

The following Saturday, May 19, against the Maine Mammoths, the Sharks will honor and uphold the sacrifices made by the men and women who have and continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces on “Military Appreciation Night” presented by Darley’s Plumbing. The Sharks proudly reserve this night as a platform to generate donations to the Veteran Tickets Foundation via a military themed jersey auction, military Attack Dance Team poster sales and military-themed Sharks tees. Additionally, all military personnel and their families will receive a BOGO ticket offer.

To kick off June, the Sharks will host Superhero Night / Education Appreciation Night on Saturday, June 2, against the Columbus Lions.  The Sharks will reserve this night to recognize all teachers, administrators and school employees in celebration of Education Appreciation with a BOGO ticket offer.   Children will also receive a free ticket with the purchase of a paying adult. (Maximum of 2 free kids tickets 12 years and under per 1 paying adult). The first 1,000 kids (12 and under) who attend the game will receive free super cape provided Snyder Heating & Air.  The Junior Attack Dance Camp will take place on on this this weekend and Jr. Attack will entertain us with a special halftime performance. There will also be special appearances from popular Superheros and Villians. Whether you're a hero or villain watch the Sharks battle for home field supremacy. Following the game, custom game worn superhero jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Veterans Tickets Foundation.

The Sharks will return to the Shark Tank June 23, to haunt the Shark Tank by bringing back another classic - “Halloween in June”. This entertaining theme encourages kids and adults to join us in their favorite costume as we team up with our spooky friends at The Scream Park, who will have plenty of haunted surprises in store. A haunted house will be set up on the concourse for your enjoyment or demise. For those who would prefer to not have a chill run up their spine during this thrilling night, there will be an established “no-scare” zone.

On Saturday, July 21, the Sharks will host Star Wars Night.  Members of the 501st Legion will be in attendance as well as the kids from the Jedi Academy, so grab your cameras and decide whether to join the Rebellion or the Dark Side. The first 1,000 kids in attendance (12 years and under) will receive their own Jedi Lightsaber.

The Sharks final game of the regular season will be Saturday, July 28, against the Massachusetts Pirates for Fan Appreciation Night / 80s night. Fan Appreciation Night / 80s night. We will moon walk to the rhythm of not only a winning decade, but a winning season. Bringing back big hair, neon and zebra pants, as fans will enjoy a memorable last game of the regular season. As a special thanks to Sharks fans, select merchandise at the game will be 50% off for Fan Appreciation Night. This deal will only be available at the team merchandise stand on the main concourse.
