07/23/2012 9:00 PM - JACKSONVILLE – The ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks announced Monday that the team will “Red-Out” Sea Best Field for the team’s opening-round playoff game against the Georgia Force. The game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Fans are encouraged to wear red shirts on Saturday in order to enhance the in-arena atmosphere during the game.
“If you’re not wearing a red shirt on Saturday, then you must be a Force fan,” Sharks Managing Partner Jeff Bouchy said. “If for some reason you don’t have a red Sharks shirt, our red logo tees will be available for 25% off the regular price at the arena on the day of the game. Wear red or move to Atlanta.”
In addition, the team announced that single-game playoff tickets are now on sale, and may be purchased through Ticketmaster or through the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena box office. To alleviate possible long lines at the arena on game day, fans are encouraged to pick up their tickets at either the arena box office or the Sharks Ticket Office prior to the day of the game. Tickets may be picked up as early as the day after they are purchased.
Season ticket holders who wish to purchase the Sharks’ playoff package – keeping their same seats at their usual season ticket rate - may continue to do so until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24. Contact the Sharks Ticket Office at (904) 621-0700 to finalize your purchase. After that deadline, all remaining seats will be released to the general public.
