JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that Kicker Nick “The Deuce” Belcher signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for his third year of arena football and second year with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Belcher (6’0”, 185) spent the 2017 season with the Jacksonville Sharks where he led the league in special team scoring (114 points), PATs made (89), field goals made (19), deuces (20) and point per game (9.5). During the regular season, Belcher was named Special Teams Player of the Week five times and was awarded First Team All-NAL and Special Teams Player of the Year. Prior to the Sharks, Belcher played for the Cedar Rapids Titans where he went 29 for 54 in field goals and 62 for 79 in PATs for his rookie season.

Belcher started his college career at Darlington Technical for two years before finishing his career at South Carolina State. Belcher is a native of Sumter, South Carolina and attended Lakewood High School where he competed in football, baseball, soccer and tennis.
