JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks announced Wednesday that veteran offensive lineman Kevin Myers has been assigned to the Jacksonville roster on a two-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 30-year-old Myers (6’6”, 370) enters his third season in the Arena Football League. Most recently, he finished the 2014 season with the Pittsburgh Power, starting the team’s regular-season finale against the Philadelphia Soul. Myers first played in the AFL with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in 2010. In addition to his primary blocking duties, Myers hauled in eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Myers’ professional career also includes stops in several indoor football leagues, as well as a stint with the United Football League’s Sacramento Mountain Lions. Prior to the start of his professional career, Myers attended New Mexico Highlands University and Compton College. Myers currently resides in Waterford, Texas.
