Jacksonville, FL – The Sharks (4-2) are back in Texas this week for a rematch against their week one opponent, the West Texas Warbirds (2-4). Their last contest was all Jacksonville, who won 54-26 at the Ector County Coliseum.
On April 8, Kamrin Solomon led the scoring against the Warbirds with four touchdowns to start his 2023 season. However, the defense led the game, Marvin Ross had two interceptions, and Jermiah Price had a sack.

Solomon leads the league in touchdowns (17), receiving yards (713), and receiving yards per game (118.8), totals that were all added to after a very successful game in San Antonio.
The Warbirds last played on May 27, beating the Predators 41-34 in Orlando. Quarterback Mitch Kidd, who signed with West Texas in early May, threw for 285 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. He is averaging 147.5 yards per game in two games with the Warbirds.
