Re-signed with the Sharks August 16, 2017 for his seventh season of arena football (Utah: 2009, Wyoming: 2010, Jacksonville: 2011-2012, Jacksonville: 2014, Jacksonville: 2017-Present). 

Pro Experience

2017: Named First Team All-NAL, totaled 36.5 tackles and seven interceptions for 147 yards.  2014: Recorded 50.5 tackles for the Sharks, 18 pass breakups, 10 interceptions, five fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. 2012: Started the Sharks' final 14 games as a linebacker after missing the first four weeks with a knee injury suffered during the preseason. Despite the missed time, Hunt finished third on the team with 51 total tackles (37 solo), tied for fourth on the team with eight pass breakups and snagged two interceptions. 2011: Signed to the Jacksonville Sharks 2011 roster for his rookie season on October 19, 2010 and played in 13 games that season. He had his best game of his rookie campaign during week 10 vs Iowa (5/13), where he was in on four tackles while also picking off a single-game franchise-record three Barnstormer passes for 25 yards. 2010: Played linebacker for the Wyoming Calvary of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA). 2009: Hunt got his first taste of professional football as a member of the Utah Saints, also of the AIFA.


Played at Florida State University from 2006-09 as a linebacker for the Seminoles.


Attended University Christian High School (Jacksonville, Fla.). Followed in the footsteps of his father when he went to FSU. Hunt, Sr. played linebacker for the Seminoles from 1970-72, and was drafted in the tenth round (No. 253 overall) by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1973 NFL Draft. Hunt, Sr. also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
