Transaction Notes: John Huggins re-signed with the Sharks for the 2026 season. 

Professional: In his 2025 season with the Sharks, John Huggins recorded 5 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, 12 total tackles,  1-1 tfl/yds, with 1 defended pass, and a forced fumble.

College: Huggins played for the University of Florida in 2018. In his first game as a Gator, he recorded an interception against Charleston Southern. He then transferred to Robert Morris in 2019. During his sole season at Robert Morris, Huggins totaled eight tackles and two for loss in three games. Huggins transferred to Garden City Community College in 2020. During the 2021 spring season at Garden City, Huggins totaled 24 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and one interception in only four games. He then transferred to Jackson State for the 2021 fall season. During his collegiate career at Jackson State, Huggins recorded 109 total tackles and 3 interceptions in 33 games.
