Transaction notes: Dontae Lucas has signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for the 2026 season. 

Professional: Lucas attended the 2025 NFL Draft. This is Lucas’ first year with the Sharks.

College: Lucas attended The University of Southern Mississippi in 2024. Prior to the Southern Miss, he attended Southern Alabama with 23 games played and 21 starts across 2022–2023. Started 11 games in 2023, helping the offense rank top-three in the Sun Belt Conference while allowing just 2.3 sacks per game. Key contributor to units that produced a 1,000-yard rusher, near 3,000-yard passer, and over 400 yards of offense per game.
